This is a project based course that explores the rules and tricks
behind composition and content of photographs to create a visual
impact. It contains a mix of theory, appreciation and practical
content. The course led by an experienced and renowned photographer
Hugh Mc Elveen will take place in small groups (max 8 people) and
therefore will assure individual attention, personal advice, answers
and feedback. Participants should be familiar with the basics of
photography and with their cameras functions (exposure, aperture,
shutter speeds etc.). By the end of the course participants will have
developed an initial idea towards completion and will have honed their
technical ability. The focus is also on understanding composition,
lighting and technical settings for different creative uses.
